The Next Best Thing pulled me in from the very first line — Simone’s journey through love, loss, and rediscovery is so heartfelt and relatable. The connection between Simone and Simba is both magnetic and deeply moving, and I loved how the story explored not only romance but also personal growth and healing.
The writing is vivid and immersive, and the characters felt incredibly real — especially Simone and her best friend Weezy. Their bond added so much warmth and depth to the story.
I’d love to know — is there an audiobook version available or coming soon? I’d really love to give it to my mother and grandmother as well. I know they would absolutely enjoy experiencing this beautiful story too!
